Here's a quick update... We finally sold our condo!!! Not as high as we hoped to, but comparable nontheless.

So now just got to find a house. We decided against the house we originally wanted based on location - too far to drive, though space wise it's definitely a huge place. But that's why, huge place in a far neighborhood. So we're looking in more surrounding areas. Anyway, it's been stress galore. Everyone says how buying and selling the house is stressful, but boy, every night I go to bed absolutely exhousted. We found this cute house, in a nice neighborhood, close to both of our jobs, and it's being refurbished, so basically they are putting new kitchen in, new cabinets, new carpeting, new bedroom... u name it. Price is fairly affordable in comparison to what other houses in that neighborhood sell for. A nice investment b/c it will go up like that! If it was up to me, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, the decision has to be made by both of us, and Mike is stubborn and he doesn't want it b/c he thinks it's "overpriced" - it is way smaller than the one we are giving up, and costs about 20K more. So in his logic, why buy something smaller for bigger money. But he fails to understand that neighborhood plays a huge role in pricing and in that neighborhood ,we are actually given a great deal, and in couple of years our house would be worth quite a bit. But he does not get it. My parents actually agree with me and they are quite upset Mike is so short-sited. But... Again, we both have to decide. It's just been very stressful. But I guess it's fun stress - at least we're looking a house, and moving on with our lives. Just wish it would be over soon. Then I could move on to fun things such as decorations and furniture and all that :))

In 3 days, our medical insurance kicks in with the company I'm working at. Hope all will go smoothly. One less thing to worry about! :-)
