We're covered in snow again. Just as I thought spring is here. How discouraging! And yet, after a hellish drive back yesterday night (from school), while walking from the parking lot to the entrance, I was marveling at how beautiful the snow looked on the sidewalks - untouched, glistening. That brings me back to being a kid - when snow wasn't a nusiance and a driving hazard but just pure fun - snowmen, ice skating and all. But still, I crave warm weather. It's an energy thing - I feel like I can do tons when it's warm. Besides, I'm so sick of my winter coat and boots and gloves! I want to be able to just put something on and get out the door. Well, hopefully, soon.

My interview is tomorrow. The good news, I stopped at career services to find out more about the job and they said the internship is paid! Yeah. Even if it's some silly money - it's still money. I will feel less guilty indulging myself once in a while (like, buying LOTR game cards ;) - and just in general, it's cool to be able to earn some. The not-so-good news is that the company is looking for someone as soon as possible, and I can only start in April, when my new schedule kicks in. On the other hand, it's only a month away, and also they are aware that I'm a student, so hey, I can't just drop everything for this. Especailly this quarter - which is truly going in a whirl - so crazy.

The Corp. ID class suddenly is getting hard - now u have to put out this huge manual, within 3 weeks! Which is not much time, really. Director class - I'm a total mess in it, the teacher didn't show to class again this Monday so it's like u go throgh this on your own. I have all my layouts done but nothing is linked. Also 3 weeks to figure that out. Portfolio gives me surges of panic - sometimes I feel I'm doing good - right on target - but sometiems I realize god so much stuff is still not fixed and before you know it's senior project time and I didn't even get my print outs yet, etc. etc. Art Direction is boring and useless. We're building another exhibit. I hate space design. So this time it's Dr. Seuss exhibit. No one is motivated in our group - everyone is burnt out from building the previous one, and it's kind of like - okay got to get materials.. got to make charts..And then it hits you - two weeks left! B/c the teacher wants to be done a week earlier so those who graduate this quarter can show the exhibits off at the portfolio show (our school actually conducts an official portfolio show for the graduates and the companies come out to see stuff and some ppl get leads on the spot). In conclusion - 3 weeks of hell await. But I've been there before, and I've pulled through - so it will be fine.

Mike's birthday is coming up next week! Yeah :) He hates celebrating birthdays but I'm afraid he has no choice. Anyway, I got him a South Park DVD and a huge "Bathroom Reader" book, which is quite cool, it has all those trivia facts which are both weird and interesting. Did u know that George Washington died of being bled to death by doctors? Those times they thought that drawing blood helps to kill bacteria - so they bled him so much he died. Ouch! That's the type of stuff the book has. Pretty cool :) Mike is a notorious bathroom reader, so he'll totally dig it.

His sister is having a baby between next week and the week after. That was quick! It seemed we just found out she was pregnant. It's going to be a C, so she'll schedule it herself. This is so weird to me - u get to pick your baby's birthday. Gosh I hope I'm spared from C when the time comes. I so don't want any cuts to my body! Scares me to death.
